Thanks so much for the warm welcoming and the links. I will certainly do some reading.

Det er hyggelig at jeg kan skrive norsk her også.

Hi, Anne,

Something you might like to look into is the UU Church of the Larger Fellowship.  It is a "remote" or "virtual" congregation.

Hello from Lillesand Norway everyone reading. I'm a new member of WP and after some thoughts I've decided that my place in this puzzle might be in the UUism community. There is an organization in Oslo, but that is still to far from where I live. That shouldn't matter since we are blessed with internet and are able to travel green. Likewise I think the biggest Church is in our nearest nature and within our selves. So I try to thread lightly where I go and treating all creatures with the respect they diserve.

I cannot see any recent activity here, but I'll stay anyway .

I am on the program committee of a small fellowship in North West New Jersey. We have no settled minister, so I and others have built Sunday services around Church of the Larger Fellowship resources. For the January 2 service of this year I selected the service based around a sermon found on the CLF website entitled “What We Say about God Says Something About Us”by the Rev. Webster Kitchell. Very interesting!

I've decided to give CLF another try - just felt like there were some resources there I was missing and might be ready for now.

Brian, I just saw the web page for the Bryce Canyon Astronomy Festival. Looks great. I recognized one of the presenters. Please say Hi to
Dr. Nordgren from me. I bought his book, "Stars Above, Earth Below," and he autographed it. We had an interesting conversation, and I told him about our organization.

Phil - No, I wasn't at that conference. I will be at the Bryce Canyon Astronomy Festival next week. I'm actually giving a public lecture on July 8, and there will be a variety of other talks, public observing, etc.

Brian, were you by any chance at the dazzling astronomy conference (ALConExpo 2010/IDAagm) in Tucson, Arizona? (July 25-27) I will forever thank my "lucky stars" that I went. It was, to date, the event with the most pantheism in it that I have ever experienced, or could ever imagine happening.
